It’s a damn truth that all we can’t afford the iPhone, and the laptop is hard to carry everywhere. So the only handy device that we the middle-class people remains with is the Android device that we can use to get access to the SBCGlobal email account, and more importantly, it is handy to use.

Now, let’s see how to do the SBCGlobal email setting on the Android device.

Method to do the “SBCGlobal email server setting” on the Android

For doing the SBCGlobal net email setting you just have to follow the procedure provided below.

First of all, you have to access the application menu on the Android device by clicking on the “Application icon”. Then go to the “Email function” option from the available list of applications and then visit the option “+ Add Account”. Now choose the  IMAP/POP, and then press the “NEXT” button. Now you should insert the full email address and the password of SBC Global in fields provided accordingly. If you don’t have one, then you should create a new one. Now put the incoming mail server address in the incoming mail server field and set this address for incoming email server. The Incoming mail server address should be  imap.att.yahoo.net or pop.att.yahoo.net. Now, for outgoing server field, you have to enter the given address smtp.att.yahoo.com in the provided field. Now, the port number for the incoming mail server and the outgoing mail server should be 993 and 465 resp. Now tick on the SSL box to make sure that you want to use the SSL service. Now enter the AT&T email address and the SBCGlobal password wherever asked. Now click the Next button, and you are done.
