Why Is My Brother scanner not working?

Brother scanners are mostly used in the office premises. This device is handy in scanning the multiple documents. also, it provides a great performance. but sometimes, users might have trouble in scanning the documents. if your brother printer won't scan to windows 10 2021 device. to not worry, here are the guide to fix such problems. you may apply it on your devices. 

1. Restart the brother scanner once. 

2. ensure that the computer is connected to the printer. 

3. update the scanner driver. 

4. Uninstall/ reinstall the driver. 

5. reset the printer and computer. 

after changing these settings, your printer will start working fine.

Set the IP address on the scanner driver
To do this:

Open the Scanner Properties by clicking Start and selecting Control Panel. Then type the word ‘scanner’ in the search box and click View scanners and cameras
Choose your scanner
Click Properties button
If you get the UAC (User Account Control) screen, click Continue or Yes (for admin), or enter the admin password and click OK or Yes
Click Network Setting tab
Select Specify your machine by address
Enter the IP address you confirmed in the previous step and click OK
