basketball quarter length is necessary because it is a short sports. In a short sports, the athletes are in top form and they can execute their moves easily. If a quarter is too long then the athletes become tired and it will make the game difficult for them to play. So, basketball quarter length is necessary for the coordination and stamina of the athletes.
