Cricket is a sport that is governed by a set of rules that outline how the game should be played. Some of the key features of cricket rules include: Playing area: Cricket is played on a circular field that is typically 137-150 meters in diameter. The field is divided into several sections, including the pitch, which is a rectangular area in the center where the bowler delivers the ball to the batsman. Teams: Each team consists of 11 players, with one team designated as the batting team and the other as the fielding team. Innings: Each team gets two innings to bat and field. An innings backrooms game is complete when either 10 batsmen have been dismissed, or a predetermined number of overs (a set number of deliveries from the bowler) have been bowled.

Scoring: The batting team scores runs by hitting the ball and running between the wickets. A run is scored each time the batsmen successfully run from one end of the pitch to the other. The batting team can also score runs by hitting the ball to the boundary (the edge of the field), which is worth four runs, or by hitting the ball over the boundary, which is worth six runs. Dismissals: The fielding team tries to get the batsmen out by catching the ball before it touches the ground, hitting the wickets with the ball (known as a "bowled" dismissal), or trapping the batsman in front of the wicket with a ball that would have hit the wickets (known as an "LBW" dismissal). Bowling: The bowler delivers the ball to the batsman from one end of the pitch. The bowler must bowl the ball within a set of rules that govern the position of their arm and the delivery stride. Fielding: The fielding team tries to prevent the batting team from scoring runs by backrooms stopping the ball and returning it to the wicketkeeper or other fielders.

These are some of the key features of cricket rules, although there are many other details and nuances to the game that are also important to understand.
