Can Oxfords be worn with formal trousers?

This is a question that comes up a lot and I’ve seen many different answers. The most common answer is: no, they cannot. This is because formal trousers are very formal in nature and Oxfords are considered to be more casual than the rest of the suit.

However, there are a few exceptions to this rule. Some men wear their dress shoes with suits and others may even wear their Oxfords with suits for special occasions or if they want to look more formal than usual. But this is usually done only if you have your own personal style and if you know how to pull off such an outfit properly.

The main reason why oxford shoes are so versatile is because they are always comfortable to wear, no matter what the occasion. You can wear them with casual outfits, jeans or even dress pants. They go with almost anything in your wardrobe! If you would like to see more ways of wearing oxford shirts with formal trousers, then check out www.brunomarcshoes.com/collections/oxfords site for some amazing collection. Oxford shoes make a great choice for formal occasions because they're versatile and don't require an expensive pair of black pants or dark suit to look stylish. You can wear them with any color or patterned shirt and tie combination that you like.
