So you have your answer. You can't communicate with God when you don't have enough faith. So now what do you do? Ask another question? Likely it'd be "Why don't I have enough faith?" You're assuming you don't have sufficient and asking why again. Now you're focusing on an answer that's one question removed from your first and no closer to communicating with God. You can see where this is leading right?
OK. Let's stop this insanity and go back to the initial questionsgems. Let's look at that assumption to be sure you want to ask that question. Assumption is "I can't keep in touch with God" ;. Is that true? Just answer for yourself. If it's not then you don't have to ask that question. Should you feel it is true then consider ways to prove or know it's true. For this information we're likely to stick to "That's not true" ;. So then if we realize that people CAN speak with God then what is it we're really the need to ask?
We could ask "How is the greatest method for me to speak with God?" Now that's a fascinating question. It assumes there's a much better method to talk to God - and if you're feeling as you can't keep in touch with God then you must be missing something so perhaps the assumption is true. But would you see how the answer to that particular question could actually help you? You might actually get gaining some ground in your search for communication with God!
Another great question will be "How is God speaking in my experience?" Many times we moan and ask "Why doesn't God speak to me?" Again we're assuming that God isn't speaking because we're not hearing. That's a fairly big assumption. What if we're just unacquainted with how God is speaking? Which is more prone to occur? I vote for "unaware" ;.I happen to believe that God is always speaking. If we ask "How is God speaking to me?" then we're making the assumption that God is talking with us and when we get an answer we gain an email from God!
At the basis of this is a little thing called faith. We struggle with this particular this indicates - but really when we make assumptions it's because of our faith or lack thereof. It's what we believe! That's why paying attention to the questions we ask is indeed important. Next time you're feeling uncertain and a concern is forming in your thoughts, flip it right into a statement. Is that assumption true? If it's not then reframe your question to look for that which you want!
