Troubleshooting Trailer Lights – A Boater’s Dilemma

There is little more frustrating than a problem with your boat trailer lights. Also, there are only a few things more dangerous than issues with the trailer light system. Although this task is often overlooked, you need to check your trailer lights every time you hook up and get ready to go. But what should you do if you find yourself troubleshooting trailer lights problems? We’ll try to make the process as easy as we can. If you are having a problem, first completely disconnect your tow vehicle from the trailer, including the chains. After disconnecting your tow vehicle from your trailer, follow these steps until you find the problem.

When we weigh the advantages of LED taillights for trailers against the disadvantages, the choice is obviously easy. As far as we are concerned, LED taillights are perfect for trailers and semi-trailers. The only disadvantage of LED taillights for trailers is the purchase price. However, this disadvantage is negligible because the number of burning hours of an LED taillight is much higher than a halogen taillight.

The WAS W153 round trailer lights are a brilliant new addition to the range of LED Trailer Lights at truck Electrics. WAS has given the classic hamburger-style light a fresh new look with a bright Neon Glow Tail Light with an indicator running through the center of the lamp. There are two styles of indicator available - a Standard Flashing LED Indicator or the more modern Dynamic Indicator Strip (pictured above).
