Time to Cherish the Best Chinese Restaurants in Bali

This island hosts a large number of Chinese restaurants serving authentic Chinese food. From varieties of noodles, rice and mouth-watering appetizers, Bali offers enough Chinese food to satiate any food pallet. As a great fan of Chinese food, I always remain open to visiting places where I can get delicious Chinese cuisine. Not only does it satisfy my hunger, but it makes my taste buds dance with the flavours.

Some of the Chinese restaurants in Bali are very aesthetically built, reminding you of Shanghai cities or reconstructed ancient Chinese temples. From the legendary Pecking Duck and lobster dishes to mouth-watering prawn dumplings and phenomenal crab, let me take you on a quick journey to Hong Kong while feasting on Chinese cuisines (in alphabetical order)!

Bai Yun
How about a delightful Chinese hot pot experience with your family? Located inside The Apurva Kempinski Bali, this restaurant highlights hot pot as a popular dining style for bringing people together. They also focus on using fresh seasonal ingredients. Diners will indulge in a wide range of premium-quality meat, fresh seafood, vegetables, noodles, mushrooms, tofu and meatballs. To further enhance the guest experience, each guest can select their preferred soups as this restaurant introduces an individual hot pot for its patrons.

As for the Dim Sum, you can try 28 dim sum selections, including vegan and gluten-free options and complimentary Chef’s Chinese signature and specialities. As for the bonus, you are also allowed to experience the resort’s facilities, such as access to a 60-metre swimming pool, free entrance to the children’s play pool and fun kids slide, and some complimentary family activities.

Golden Lotus
After being opened only for All You Can Eat Sunday Dim Sum for the past two and half years, Golden Lotus is finally set to open for dinner 6 days a week! This award-winning Chinese Restaurant is set to welcome diners from Monday to Saturday from 6 PM to 10 PM for an a la carte menu, while on Sunday they will still be open for the All You Can Sunday Dim Sum from 10 AM to 2.30 PM.

They are delighted to invite diners to satisfy your appetite for authentic Chinese cuisine. All You Can Eat Sunday Dim Sum is also available every Sunday priced at IDR for only IDR 175.000 ++/ person for 90 minutes, kids 4-12 years old will receive 50% off from the normal rate. Enjoy a wide selection of à la carte Cantonese options and get 15% off from the normal rate whenever you show our Chopstick Membership card.

Golden Monkey Chinese Restaurant
Serving a large selection of classic Cantonese favourites, this restaurant in downtown Ubud takes pride in creating some of the island’s tastiest Chinese food using only the freshest quality ingredients. Highlighting Peking Duck as the signature dish, the ducks are carefully and meticulously arranged to give you an incredibly delightful taste and crunch. The smell teases your taste buds when your fingers touch its firm skin to set up the hotcakes before you close your eyes and nibble into that very fulfilling, tremendously anticipated first chomp. Relish its taste, its succulent delicacy, the flavours and burst of freshness from the fixings.

Happy Chappy
This 2-time award-winning Best Chinese Restaurant in Bali is a pleasant family-style Chinese eatery enlivened by a mix of conventional Chinese tradition with a hip, modern influence. Happy Chappy’s offbeat interpretation of upscale Chinese dining is tempered by one of the finest, best-in-class kitchens serving the most delightful customary Cantonese-style Chinese cuisines in Bali. Here, you’ll discover genuine great Chinese dishes. Let’s think of fancier portrayals – luscious, creamy, to kick the bucket for, excellent – and yes, Happy Chappy is the majority of the above, and that’s only the tip of the iceberg. However, nothing clarifies it better than genuine great Chinese nourishment.

Dinner at Happy Chappy is a whole ordeal that begins the moment you stroll through its delightful Chinese entryways and voila! You’re in 1930’s Hong Kong. From its wooden completion, red lights, Chinese adornments and sketches to the huge statue of the glad Buddha in the hall; everything cooperates to give you that immaculate eating background. Rejoice for those living in Seminyak or Petitenget as they will open a new restaurant at Jalan Taman Ganesha.
