When someone shares a note on Instagram, is it only to you?

Instagram notes allow users to write short messages to share with their followers. So now you thinking what are notes on Instagram? When someone shares a note, it is not private or only sent to you. The note will be visible on their profile for all followers to see. The things to note about shared Instagram notes are:

  • Notes are publicly posted on user's profile for all followers

  • Anyone following the user can view and read the note

  • The user does not have an option to privately share notes only to specific people.
