Thus, a higher payables turnover means that a company is paying its suppliers as well as timely. This is usually considered favorable because it indicates steady and efficient payment in relation to the accounts receivables. It will also imply that the company perhaps does not fully optimize the credit terms they get from their suppliers to manage its cash flow.
