Steps to run an SFC scan to fix Window error 0x80004005 are:

Click the Start button and type “cmd” in the search bar.

Now under the “Command Prompt” option, select “Run as administrator.

Enter the command sfc /scannow and press Enter.

Wait for the scan to finish, restart your PC and you are done
