I wanted to start a thread on the Mahindra XUV700 because it’s been getting a lot of attention lately, and for good reason! With its powerful performance, premium features, and aggressive pricing, it’s easily one of the most talked-about SUVs in India right now.
The XUV700 comes with two engine options – a 2.0L turbo-petrol and a 2.2L turbo-diesel – both offering impressive power and torque. What really stands out is the smooth automatic transmission, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), panoramic sunroof, dual 10.25-inch screens, and Alexa voice commands – all features that were mostly limited to luxury cars till now.
One thing that surprised me is how well Mahindra has tuned the suspension. The ride feels stable at high speeds and handles Indian roads decently. Plus, safety features like 7 airbags, ESP, and a 5-star Global NCAP rating add to its appeal.
However, not everything is perfect. The initial waiting period has been insane – some people reporting 6 to 10 months! Also, some users have faced software glitches in the infotainment system, though Mahindra has been pushing updates to resolve them.
Overall, I think Mahindra has done a great job with the XUV700. It’s bold, tech-loaded, and performance-oriented – something many Indian families are looking for. If you’re planning to buy an SUV in the ₹15-25 lakh range, the XUV700 should definitely be on your list.
Would love to know your thoughts! Anyone here already driving the XUV700? How’s your experience so far?
