Battery. One of the most important elements of electric transport, which is responsible for mileage and other characteristics. When buying, it is first of all important to consider the battery type, because each has its own pros and cons:

Lead. It is rarely used, because it is quite heavy, it serves for 1-2 years and is slowly charged. But it is not afraid of cold weather and costs less than its modern counterparts.

Lithium-ion battery. It is lighter and has a large specific capacity. Serves twice as much as lead. However, it quickly discharges in the cold and does not like the heat.

Lithium-iron-phosphate. It can be operated even in -20 degrees, it charges quickly and lasts a long time. The disadvantage is the high cost.

Power. Affects the duration of your travel. If you plan to travel over a distance of 50 km, consider models with a capacious battery (from 1000 W), since you are unlikely to be able to recharge the battery on the road. And if it is discharged, you will have to walk or go on public transport and at the same time roll a scooter nearby. For moving around the city or town, units up to 500 w are suitable. At the same time, it is important to remember that to use any electric transport with a power of more than 250 Watts, you need a license.

Weight. If the transport will be lifted to the floor or brought to the basement, then choose a lighter device. Also consider who will use the scooter. Elderly people or fragile girls are unlikely to fit bulky and heavy units.

I already have two electric bicycles in my garage and an electric scooter has watched electric scooters for children. A very cool thing, you roll downhill and go downhill. It charges quickly and lasts for a long time. And cheap and profitable. We go around all the traffic jams on our bicycles and you don't get tired if you go downhill. I think the children will be happy too.
