SASO IECEE is a recognition certificate enforced by the Saudi Standardization, Metrology, and Quality Organization (SASO) in February 2018 on high-risk products prepared for export to the kingdom market to ensure its compliance with the relevant technical regulations and conformity to the Saudi and international safety standards.
This certificate is required to prove that the concerned products are safe for use and with no harm to the consumer or the environment. As IECEE covers high-risk products, it was designed to be a high level of conformity and compliance proof.

Obtaining IECEE requirements
The importer must register on jeem 1 platform to apply for the IECEE and provide all the required explanatory data about the products, in addition to providing a CB Test Report from an approved laboratory andaCB Test Certificate from an approved certification body.
In case there are any accessories attached with the product, it is required the same data and documents for accessories as for the main product.
IECEE conditions
All shipments of products within the IECEE scope are enforced to hold the certificate to complete the clearance process at the Saudi ports and be placed in the market.
The IECEE certificate is granted for a certain product and valid for one year, it can be renewed via jeem 1.
