Scenario 1: Both wired and wireless computers lost internet connection
Unplug the modem, the router and the computer (in that order) from their respective power outlets then wait for 30 seconds before plugging them back. Re-plug the modem first followed by the router and then the computers. Wait for the lights of all the devices to stabilize then check if you can go online (try accessing any website). If you still don't have internet, connect your computer directly to the modem and check if you can go online. If you cannot go online, contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
Scenario 2: Only wired computers do not have internet connection
Check physical connections, cables and lights on the router. Ensure that the light corresponding to the port on the router where you had connected your computer is lit up and the cables are properly plugged in. Also, you can check if the computer is getting a valid IP address from the router.
Scenario 3: Only wireless computers do not have internet connection
Check some factors that affect wireless clients, such as: Network selection and security Client TCP/IP settings Signal strength Sources of interference
