In order to send emails to other users, you need to have a ProtonMail account. If you don't, you'll need to upgrade to the Plus plan. A ProtonMail Plus account has a password-protected email inbox. And it comes with a dedicated mobile app. However, you can only use it on compatible mobile devices. You'll need to purchase a subscription to the Visionary or Lifetime plan if you'd like to download the app.
