Headphones for under $200 are lightweight, comfortable, and come with a detachable cable that can be replaced if something goes wrong. The headphones are good enough to be used to make music, so I think they are great for a producer. The only thing that may be a concern is their open-back design. This means that a lot of sound leaks out of the ear cups, which is not a problem too bad except in an environment where you wouldn't want anybody else to hear what you are doing. If that is not a problem, these are a great choice.
