Who is Eligible for NEET Exam?

The NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is an entrance exam conducted in India for students who wish to pursue undergraduate medical courses (MBBS/BDS) in India or abroad.

The eligibility criteria for NEET exam are as follows:

Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission and the maximum age limit is 25 years (for general category candidates) or 30 years (for reserved category candidates).

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects. They must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in PCB (for general category) and 40% marks in PCB (for reserved category).

Nationality: Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Persons with Indian Origin (PIO), and foreign nationals are eligible to apply for NEET exam.

Other Requirements: Candidates must fulfill other requirements such as Aadhaar Card, passport size photographs, etc. as specified by the conducting authority.
