Children between the ages of 5 and 13 who travel alone on non-stop or direct flights can do so safely according to JetBlue Unaccompanied Minor Policy. Assistance is provided at every stage of the trip, from check-in to the adult pick-up at the destination. Parents are required to pay a $150 charge per direction and complete an UMNR form. Throughout the trip and the deplaning process, JetBlue employees keep an eye on the child. Comfort, security, and open communication between the airline and the child's guardians are all guaranteed by the policy. Children 14 years of age and up are exempt from this service.
