Does Eating Late at Night Cause Fat Gain?

Hey everyone,

 

I've always heard that eating late at night makes you gain weight, but is that actually true? Some people say it's all about calories in vs. calories out, while others claim eating before bed slows metabolism and leads to fat storage.

 

Fatlessly, I usually have a late-night snack because of my schedule, and I’m wondering if it's hurting my progress. What do you all think? Any personal experiences or science behind this?
