Deepfake technology

Hi! I recently started looking into Deepfake technology and I have a few questions. I know it is a technology that allows you to create very believable fake videos where you can replace people's faces or voices. But how exactly does it work from a technical point of view? Does this technology use neural networks and machine learning to generate such videos? And how realistic is it in practice to distinguish Deepfake from real video, especially given how quickly this technology is developing?

Recently, I have also become interested in Deepfake technology and I want to share my thoughts. This technology is really impressive because it allows you to create incredibly realistic videos in which you can replace people's faces or voices. And yes, Deepfake is based on neural networks and machine learning. These systems are trained on huge amounts of data, analyzing thousands of faces, movements, expressions, and voices to accurately reproduce them in the video. The more data, the better the result. If you are interested in a deeper understanding of this topic, you should read this article https://www.companionlink.com/blog/2025/03/ai-deepfakes-and-ai-based-blackmail/. It explains in detail how Deepfake works, how it is used in different areas and what threats may arise in this regard. The article also touches on security issues and protection against the use of Deepfake in fraud and blackmail, which is certainly very important in our digital world.
