An easy-to-install D-Link Wi-Fi extender can increase the range of your network. Connect the extender to a power outlet close to your router first. Connect your computer or phone to the extender's Wi-Fi network. Type the IP address of the extender—typically 192.168.0.50—into a browser window. Enter the default login information or, if provided, your own. To choose your home network, input your Wi-Fi password, and spread your Wi-Fi signal to the regions you choose, follow the setup wizard's instructions. The extender will restart itself automatically once the setup is complete, and your network should now have a better signal in places that are difficult to reach. For simple management and dlink wifi extender setup, you can also use the D-Link app.
